I was born Siv Mohlin and raised in Sweden where I graduated from Lund University. I have since lived in Paris and Lyon, France and New Rochelle, N.Y. My American husband, John, and I have traveled extensively throughout the U.S, Europe, and a few other continents, first and foremost many trips to India, where we have two adorable foster daughters. I retired after many years of teaching French in Westchester, N.Y. and English in les Grandes Ecoles (Institutes of Technology) in France. In addition to my progressive political writing, I have also written various pieces of fiction, especially poems, over the years. In addition to my political activism and writing, my life is filled with friends, family, music, animals (one dag and two cats), reading, traveling, gardening, etc. We live in a suburb of Lyon and our animals can roam freely in the yard and outside.
John and I are very much involved and participate in the activities of an organization in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India, and we have created and continue to improve and run a website for the Institution DEVA/DISCC. – Siv Molin O’Neall
